Actually, my interest in the Wii's sales is largely academic: in studying disruption and Blue Ocean, I can't help but find its sales trends to be fascinating to watch. To be fair, it was the Wii that led me to studying those aspects, and this site in particular which first piqued my interest by proxy of a link to Malstrom's site, but that is my primary reason now. Before, I just watched the sales numbers for fun. When you take into account that I consider Excel to be entertainment software as much as I consider it to be business software, that may not sound so odd...
