Neither. I want a Zelda MMO! In fact, I already have a plot in my head for such a game, if anyone's willing to hear it...

we're all ears!

Ok, then... This game is set post- Phantom Hourglass on a continent called New Hylia which was discovered by emigrants led by Tetra/Zelda some 1000 years before the game started. Since that time, both Tetra and the Hero of the Wind have grown up, procreated, and died. It has been nearly as long ago as the discovery of this new land since a new hero has emerged, or even needed to...

The situation quickly changes for the worse as a seal protecting an unspeakable evil is broken, which plunges New Hylia into chaos... The Dark Madness takes hold of the land, and a new Hero must emerge... However, there are numerous Neo-Hylian warriors seeking to claim the privilege of being the Hero, calling themselves Hero Candidates... You are one of these Hero Candidates, and how your campaign plays out will be determined by how you play...

If you seek to eliminate the competition, rob corpses, and generally be rude or disrespectful to others, you will fall victim to the Madness and be a minion of a being known as Seth... If you simply claim power on your own and respect the dead as well as the living, you will have a much harder path to follow, but if you survive, you could very well conquer the evil that is Seth...

I could have pitched that better, I suppose, but bear in mind that Seth is a preliminary name for the villain, and that new storylines could emerge after the initial quest is over... So what do you think?

I like it except for the Seth thing, if only because it sounds too much like Sith.

Perhaps set it a bit earlier in this "neo-hylia" so it winds up as more of a colonization MMO, and that the Dark Madness is something unleashed by disturbing the ruins of an older civilization

How i would fix it, at least
