I really dont think they went all out in 07 and 08,
we had 1 game from each dev studio, and many of them can handle many major games at once (EAD)
FE (maybe SPM) - Intelligent Systems
SSBB- HAL
SMG- EAD Tokyo
Mario Kart and AC- EAD
Zelda was last gen and just ported, I really dont count they, it was supposed to be released in 05, but it was delayed.... to guess why? be released when it could best sell consoles.
End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)
Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
