Its actually kinda awesome seeing the xfriends go into defence mode and proclaim: "large install base!" "its Japan!" "its ACTUALLY below expectations!" "why are you so happy its no surprise at all!" "Its just first day numbers... it will probably only reach 175k, the preview doesnt matter" just to piss on everyone's parade. Its even more amusing when you look back at some of these guy's previous comments regarding its debut show how they keep changing their mind in regards to their pessimistic stance and just to see them formulate different yet still negative perspectives to discredit its sales.
Especially considering the JRPGs released on their platform were actually more anticipated and somewhat alot more branded that Level 5. Seriously, despite Level 5 starting to become more and more recognized in the business, Square enix is still way over there in terms of branding. Theres probably alot more name dropping on Square than Level 5 in japan.
It just kinda shows how difficult it is for the x-crowd to show some respect, especially when its clear as day that it sold better than any of the other JRPGs released on HD consoles so far in Japan. Somewhat shows some folks true nature. hah
