This is awesome, I love these sort of sticky grammatical situations. If Rendo had said
| ssj12 said: she could have just come out and said "most americans are dumb," like me |
THAT would have been an insult, as it would have implied ssj adding the "like me" bit.
However:

is NOT insulting because the quotations clearly indicate that it is the girl speaking. Capice?
[That's part of why I get so disgusted with people who REFUSE to use any sort of puncuation, and who also use lazy words like NE1, and how r u? Because it DESTROYS the meaning of whatever it is you're trying to say.]
