well you have to consider that sequals usually never sell more than the first, I'm sure you can whip out some example to prove me wrong though, but for the most part (and no I'm not talking about a sequal or next game in series on a new system. has to be same system if you bring up an example) they dont. Oh and also the first one is/was bundled and you can't gurantee that this next one will. (I know it was bundled at least at some time, I saw the bundle when i was in stores, and that was during christmas time and black friday). SO if the first one isn't there yet I woulnd't jump to the sequal being a lock.
And to OP list, I agree with most of your accesment except God of War 3. I don't believe the first two where that huge sellers, I mean 1st one was above 3 mil, but second just below if memory serves correct. And so far on history the HD games haven't done as well as their PS2 counterparts did.
And also a bit iffy on Killzone 2. Would have figured it woudl for sure with since it seems any game with a soldier holding a gun seems to be gobbled up by millions on the 360 at least. But just recently with how Resistance 2 did I am not so sure if Iwould put a peg on for sure anymore on this PS3 exclusive.
The Final Fantasy, Gran Turismo are basic givens cause they are 10 mil or more always on system so even with taking a new gen dip or lose of fans ect it still will hit it easy. But I never like to expect the same sales for a game that it saw last gen on a new console, and one not too popular at the moment either.
