well i watch blurays in 1080i on a bravia 32"

i have a 5.1 audio system, but ive makeshifted it to 8.2

the difference in picture and sound is so good, that ive stopped buying dvd`s full stop, they are simply not as good and do not compare. on top of that bluray lets you access menu items without leaving the movie, its just great and is the best way to watch a movie.

lol i cant belive people claim they cant see difference(not anything to OP!) they sure as well saw a difference when hd-dvd was out, and now thats gone they sure as well see difference with digital download.................but for some reason they cant see the difference on bluray?

imo and everyone who i know who has seen bluray movies notice a clear difference.

i borrowed predetor on bluray off a friend, awsome film............i personally have the steel book predetor dvd the difinitive version remastered.................and im not joking it looks rank compared to the bluray rendition. ive also tried it upconverted and its still not a match, upconverting is just stretching the mage in a way, in NOW WAY WHAT SOEVER DOES IT GIVE IT MORE VISIBLE DETAIL.

hey and one last thing, with bluray`s your more likely to have a scratch free collection of movies
