I played the Monster Hunter on the PS2, I enjoyed it multiplayer wise but the messaging friends was annoying. If they added voice chat it would be an awesome experience.
I also played Monster Hunter Freedom for the PSP. It was boring, not being about to go online and play with others is a bummer and I was completely turned off at the fact it was sometimes impossible to get past a monster unless you had some help from your friends or so.
I am a Wii owner by the way and I am looking forward to MH3 for the Wii :)
