This thread here is basicly for writing down what you want to see from a sequel. I am only going to write about games I love, but still need a hand. And it doesn't matter if there is in fact a sequel announced or not.

I am going to start off with:

Assasin's Creed

There were some great ideas in the first game, but they were not all well executed.

- Great emphasis on "blending with the crowd", yet you walk around in clothes that are anything but normal, while carrying a minor weapons depot. Not very well thought out, but great idea basicly.

- You have four options when it comes to gaining information on your target. All of them feel very fake when you get to them (like seeing an eaves drop spot from a view point, and when you actually get there, that is when they start spewing information). This fakeness combined with only four different options, means that you will be grinding and it wont give you great satisfaction.

- When you are riding in the kingdom, and are being watched by guards, why is it that you have to blend to not get attacked? Why can't I actually ride? It can't be that suspicious to see someone who is in a hurry. Or perhaps the Holy Land has gotten speed limits.

- We are told that the Animus translates what we hear into modern language so we can understand it. Then why do we hear german and french speech? Translate it, god damn it.

- There are so few pieces of dialogue, there is like one guy talking about the war in every city. And you can hear him every where you go, because there is one line of dialog for this kind of person, and they are so many places. Give me more dialogue, so we don't have to listen to the same lines over and over and over and over and... And stop making people comment on me climbing up buildings this much. You hear the line "And when he does, I wont help him" freaking billions of times!

- Why are we even given directions on where to go to obtain information from the Assasin's Bureau? It is almost completely redundant. All you need is a viewpoint, and you can get information.

I could rant more about all the faults of this game, like how you aren't exactly stealthy (and security must be shittily stupid to not see you), assasins working in broad daylight etc., but I will leave it here.

Mirror's Edge

- Less precision work/better colition detection. It happens so many times that you are certain you will latch on to something, it just seems natural. But then you fly by the pipe and fall to your death, because you missed it by a centimeter. Fuck, that is annoying.

- Combat isn't very good. Gunplay is shoddy (this may be because Faith isn't that good with weapons, in which case guns are overused in the gameplay). It feels broken, nothing more to say. ("Disarm when the weapons are red" is a bad idea)

- Storyline isn't very engaging.

Resistance 2

I am only going to comment on the coop here, because it was the only place where I felt that there was something great to complain about.

- The missions start feeling alike very fast, there isn't alot of variation in location/enemies. Once you've been to a location, chances are it will play exactly the same, the next time you visit it. I think a L4D system (the AI director) would be good for variation.

Okay people, feel free to add your own complaints/wishes to the list, and comment on the ones already here.
