Some developers are not worried about the potential of a system of the Wii and it's marketing capabilties, but the power deficit and purpose in which it has as well as Nintendos casual approach in almost an abandonment of the hardcore (Even though they haven't completely done that, what i'm talking about is perception). |
Most publishers/developers won't have a choice. Japanese ones already have a hard time ignoring it due to its overwhelming presence in Japan as compared to the PS360. Western ones will be in a similar situation as its marketshare rises and the financial crisis will only help them go there (see take two's: "we have to look at the Wii as a viable platform, because we can't ignore that install base, We just can't").
Also, my post was worded to evoke the old PS3 fans cries of "it's selling well for the price now, just wait until it get some games" way back in 2007.
