I would save the money for a new game instead. My sister owns the cartridge and I used to play it, and I think it is just quite boring. The whole concept about a sports game mixed with an RPG is nice, but it ends up in just playing matches all the time which don't require you to do a lot, but they are just endlessly long, even more so when you have to play with a CPU partner.
The tennis itself is fine, but I just think that such games aren't working on a handheld since the multiplayer component is lacking, and this also makes it not really interesting to unlock anything.
So if you're into handheld sports games you should buy it, but if not I'd let it be.
