I'm going to start writing up this months article in a few days, can't believe how many are on the verge of going platinum!

Oh yea there's a lot. By the end of the year:

  • SW: TFU
  • We Ski
  • Simpsons Game
  • Ben 10: Protector of the Earth
  • Lego Indiana Jones
  • Naruto: Clash of the Ninja Revolution
  • Big Beach Sports should all be platinum.

There's a few others that still have a shot but we'll go with the certains which is 41 million sellers. Then in 2009:

  • Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party
  • De Blob
  • House of Dead 2 and 3 Return
  • DDR: Hottest Party
  • Madden 08
  • Tiger Woods 08
  • Tiger Woods 09
  • Madden 09
  • Endless Ocean
  • Sega Superstars Tennis
  • Hannah Montana: Spotlight Tour
  • Boom Blox
  • Mario Super Sluggers
  • Lego Batman
  • Shaun White
  • Guinness World Records
  • Sonic Unleashed
  • MySims Kingdom
  • High School Musical 3

are all left in good position to go platinum and all should go platinum some time in the first half of 2009. Meaning at least by the end of June 2009, Wii should have 60 million sellers. Then of course there's a few others that are already platinum with others sales such as Super Monkey Ball. Then this isn't even counting the ones releasing in the first half of 09. Wii is going to have a pretty steady supply of million sellers.

I would add

Cod: WaW (I think it is quite undertracked for several reasons)

Outdoor Life: Active Challenge (i think you over looked it because Others sales are still seperated over 500k already)

Game Party 2 (GP 1 hit is sales sweet spot at 19.99, this is already 250k at 29.99)

Nerf and Strike (it will make it.... heck i even want it)

Carnival Games Minigolf (at 19.99 or even 29.99 this will sell loads, still 39.99 and already at over 250k)

I think all of those are a 75% chance or better at being plat by next fall, and WILL ltd

other with some shot,

The Clone Wars Lightsaber Duels (I think it is undertracked a bit, and it will have steady legs)

Walle - Maybe, over 500k and will be about 650k going into 09, its legs should be stubby... I see it MAYBE selling like the simpsons.

hasbro family game night- looks fun, casual recognition, has a good shot in the long run

Disney Singit- One of the better singit games, long legs it will have

these are 50/50 liftime shots... a couple may catch on (FGN, and Disney most likely) and sell well enough to go plat with the top list....

Also as a note, last year ioi undertrack all of the casual type games (like we though Carnival games flopped badly, and Game Party was really undertracked)

I agree with all of the ones Zucas Put up, I think longest shot you named was Guiness World Records, and that should be fine.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
