Honestly from what I have played the idea that they think this is just more of the same prime is sort of surprising to me. They did a very good job of adding entirely new dynamics and puzzle elements. They could of just used the same old puzzle elements and the same old upgrades but they have tons of new upgrades, with complimentary new puzzles tied into them, with tons of new features, and in general there is tons of new stuff.
I can see how this is just a boring sequel with the same old Metriod stuff and not much added...I have to wonder if they will rate Mario down since its just a sequel and its same old platforming. /sarcasm
I don't care too much about the scores since they don't really matter all that much for a strong franchise like Prime but I do mind when it seems like they hardly played the game or possibly don't have much experience with the series and were making assumptions? Hell I don't know whatever it is the idea that its just a plain sequel seems very wrong to me.
