Well.. when does something new and exciting become repetitive?

I think a lot of games like POP and mirrors edge are made, then their sequels will go on to sell more. It takes time to get a new idea off the ground, and for it to sell well.

But by that time, the forums are clamoring for yet the next new thing, instead of the next iteration of what was once a new thing.

By the time the new formula for mirrors edge or POP is perfected, and the games are near perfect, the masses will be ready to move onto the next game. Its all cyclical.

Truly new innovations are not desired by the masses at first, how could they be? Just pump out the sequel, and all will be right in the world.

I take it you didn't think that the NES or the Wii were true innovations?

Well I don't know what to say about the reception of this game, but I do have a copy of this game waiting for me to open it tomorrow night! =D
