Especially one with as big of userbase thats patiently waiting for a sequel..." 1. You're confusing features with marketing and overall quality. 2. You don't know that many 360 owners are waiting for the game. They might, but you are just assuming. Doesn't work that way. |
You can call it knowing your consoles demographics. I frequently party up with freinds and people I meet online when i play halo, street fighter, gears 2...etc...I probably got to talk to atleast 30 different people in the last 2 weeks alone and Id have to say that RE5 demo has made a huge impression with a lot of the shooter fans. And the demo isn't available legaly outside Japan yet, so these people had to seek it out to play it...once it comes out widely and is there on the front page when you log in to xbox live...oh man
I wouldn't go out on a limb here trying to impress anyone on this site with my psychic knowledge and make some crazy prediction if I wasn't absolutly sure the game is going to be a huge hit with the... "What you got Bitch! Oh snap...that shit is off the hook!" crowd. My kind of people...
Ofcourse quality may have a say as well...if the game is nothing like the demo and word of mouth spreads, the game will not have any legs. But what are the odds of that?
