Of course the real advantage is to just push the popularity of other brands.

You come in because you like Darkstalkers, and then your like "Hey Etna is cool let me buy that Disgaea PSP game."

Same reason the SRW games are great.  They can revive anime shows that weren't even popular in the first place just by having them in... and boosting their sales.

Super Robot Wars is a crossover (anime characters I'm guessing) RPG too?
