Yeah, and you'll need to do an online transfer of licenses and such so your new console will be able to access the content. It's only necessary once.
My 20gb Premium died twice - and MS repaired them both times for free. It was during my second time that I was like 'Shoot, I need something more reliable.' So, I bought an Arcade and kept the 20gb drive. However, I ended up snagging a 120gb drive too. So, I had two 360s - and both worked good. I ended up giving my son the Premium for Christmas - he's only 5 and I know his friends are gonna be soooo jealous - and a few games. When it dies and if MS doesn't pay for it, I'll just let him play on my Arcade.
