Well after a 2.5 hour starter session the game is looking phenomenal. It took about 10 minutes to get used to the controls and at first I was kind of thinking "WTH is this crap??" But once I got the idea all the issues just melted away and you feel more in control of samus than ever.
From what I have played through so far I don't think they just recycled old puzzles into new formats but you are actually getting brand new puzzle concepts built around brand new puzzle goodness.
