Well if RE5 was announced for Wii at the same time as the others it would have given it a significant one. But if it was announced like today it would be more difficult as a lot of hype wouldn't be built up for it.
But there is a strong RE following on the Nintendo platforms, such as me, so it would still sell well. But probably not as much as the PS3 and 360 versions.
