So what if PC costs more?  This thread is about graphics, not the cost of getting those graphics.

I really like HD gaming sitting on a couch, but if ultimate graphics are you're thing (and you can afford it) then a high end PC is still the place to be.

I am impressed though with how MGS 4, Gears 2 and (hopefully) KZ2 are pushing the envelope for console gaming.  Makes it even easier for me to give up on expensive updates and settle for a nice big HD TV and a comfortable couch.
