I have been playing games for over twenty years. Just upping the graphics does nothing for me anymore. I am more interested in new and innovative gameplay, which is why I am attracted to the Wii.
This really started in the 4-5 gen transition, which was really just a power increase in the consoles.
As your gaming taste mature, you want something new and original.
Its like in highschool, you want to date the hottest girl in school, even if she is a vapid moron, then when you get older, you would much rather date the cute, fun, smart girl than the hot idiot.
 I am a Gauntlet Adventurer.I strive to improve my living conditions by hoarding gold, food, and sometimes keys and potions. I love adventure, fighting, and particularly winning - especially when there's a prize at stake. I occasionally get lost inside buildings and can't find the exit. I need food badly.
