| Onimusha12 said: But Final Fantasy has fallen greatly since Square-Soft became Square-Enix, but that's largely due to the fact that Final Fantasy 1-10 were made by Square, Final Fantasy X2-13 are basically made by Enix with a handful of Square employees. Crystal Chronicles actually has the benefit of the doubt being a fresh start though, its not really the trainwreck that the flagship FF franchise has become, though it is showing its own signs of worry. And isn't it ironic that Final Fantasy is the lesser of the two franchises in Japan yet its only Japan that gets the special editions of the Final Fantasy Games. This combined with the fact that Square-Enix couldn't be bothered to fully localize Dragon Quest 5 for the Ds in the West... We love you Square-Enix. Thanks for making the Western market the sole concern in your business decisions yet at the same time the market you always choose to screw over. |
Uh...what? Enix doesn't have development studios, they outsource, and even then X-2, XI and XII were all in development before the merger and made by Square employees. If Enix were actively involved the games probably would have been better as evidenced by Dragon Quest and Star Ocean.
These claims that Enix "ruined things" are just getting more and more ridiculous.
