You have no idea what 1:1 gesture control means do you?   The 1:1 has nothing to do with time.   It's the exact 3D spatial motion replicated in game as detected in real life.  Basically put, it recognizes itself in 3D space.   Currently when you point away from the IR bar, the Wii remote losing context and doesn't know were it is in relation to the TV.   Wii Motion Plus will correct that.

 

One of the things I love most about people making fools of themselves during meltdowns is when someone breaks it down to them.

I love the fresh smell of meltdowns in a numbers thread. It has a distinct odor of failure with a touch of despair!
