The difference is only 1.65 million, and getting smaller 3 times a week (when each regions' sales numbers come in).
It's just question of how fast they can build them, how fast they can ship them, and how many they've been stockpiling in advance for just this purpose. Anything they can put in a store by the end of the year will sell.
The gifts to give this Christmas are the Wii, Wii Fit, and Mario Kart Wii. (And as always, the DS.)
