Right question would have been: in what reality. And answer would be: in the PS fanboy reality. Reason why games don't use 6 SPE:s (i think you meant SPE when you said core), is that the 6th SPE (for games) is mainly for the system. If the game uses all six SPE:s and system needs that SPE, it just takes it and game can't use it. So, if you want to make a game that doesn't crash, you can use only 5 SPE:s. Thats why games don't use all six.
