I could see this being said by someone else, but you? Really? If anyone is to blame for the forum members here not seeing the game as a success, it's you and your "LBP will be huge" campaign. It spread like wildfire to other Sony fans to the point of oversaturation. It ceased to be cute and stuck around more as an annoyance like the old "I'm Rick James bitch!" joke. On top of that, the Sony forum got flooded with LBP topics starting in late September to where a good one third to half the topics on the first page where all about Little Big Planet. Coupled in with the loudest Sony members being the ones making the most ridiculous predictions (Gearbox, leo-j, Crazzyman) and it's pretty easy to see how forum members got the impression this was supposed to be bigger than it turned out to be. Why not take this as a lesson that the next game every fan wants to proclaim as this huge thing to make sure it's a sure thing in the making.
"We'd rather look at this game as not a success, and continue playing Generic Shooter A, Madden 2020, and Traditional turned based JRPG 1,922,498, instead of praising a new IP for doing something different and what some would call innovative."
I find this sentence especially humorous, considering that the general concensus of Sony fans on here see MGS4 as GOTY and not LBP. I guess it wasn't innovative enough for Sony fans either to be wanted over "generic stealth game"? (Note, I don't think MGS4 is a generic game, that's why it's in quotes.)
