Nice to see people admitting they would love motion controls in their games like on the Wii. :)

I prefer the tilt action to the IR motion sensitivity. Both are really cool but I just prefer the way the sixaxis feels more.

Not sure if you're aware of this, but the Wii controller has both IR and tilt (gyroscopic) motion sensitivity.  IR is used for mouse pointer / shooting a target - the gyros are uses for most everything else (like swinging a bat or sword etc).

yeah. I still prefer just the tilt motion. Of course, with no real decent place to put my sensor bar, it tends to fall over all the time...so that very well could be the simple reasoning behind my preference to tilting the controller. :p

But the Wii rarely uses IR outside of menus with most games... most of the time it's all motion controls... and why do you call it IR motion?  They're two different techs that are built into the remote, one being IR and the other being the gyroscopes of which the Wii remote has far better ones built in then the Sixaxis, which I thought was going to be updated when DS3 came out <_< the Gyro technology is fairly cheap now I don't see the huge issue really... though I have seen that PS3 motion controller which is basically WM+ so maybe holding out till that comes out so they can market it as a huge improvement over Sixaxis.
