About Wii's graphics and "The Wii can do better" saying...

no ps2 graphics on the wii should not be accepted. thats ridiculous. the gamecube had graphics that were very noticeably better than ps2 graphics. the wii is twice as powerful as the gamecube. while maybe its not a huge difference but it at least is enough to make games noticeably better than gc so you can clearly say wii games look better than gc games just as gc games look clearly better than ps2 games.

yeah rarely do the majority of games on a system really push its hardware to the fullest. thats true. but if apply that to the wii you also have to apply it to every other system,like the ps2. a lot of 3rd party wii games look as bad as these normal ps2 games that didn't even push the ps2 which means they look downright terrible compared to what the wii is easily capable of. just regular looking wii games shouldn't only look as good as regular looking ps2 games because the wii is way more powerful than the ps2. they should look at the very least as good as good looking gc or xbox games becuse the wii is more powerful than both those systems.

3rd parties pushed the gc and xbox hardware last gen and now with the wii its even easier to get those graphics that really made the gc and xbox stand out. to accept or expect anything less is just lazy. all i expect from the wii is decent upgrades from gamecube graphics where i can say to myself the graphics are definitely better than gamecube, not downgrades to ps2 graphics. not much to ask for considering the wii is more powerful than both the xbox and gamecube and even the xbox had graphics that were noticeably better than gc.
