You new here? Wii sales are not measured in short term. Games tend to sell over months. It's what's known as "legs" in the entertainment industry. Games written off as flops or disappointment on the Wii turn into hits months later.
This game could likely sell well over 500-600k by March (end of the next fiscal quater).
As for userbase, that's a fallacy. It's about profitability, regardless of the system. PS2 games didn't generally sell five times their equvalent on the Xbox and Gamecube, and they didn't need to.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
