Tomb Raider has become a stagnant franchise these days. It's a game living off brand recognition built from old glories.

Uncharted is just much, much better. It's set a new high standard for the action adventure gaming genre.

As for characters; Naughty Dog sucessfully made Drake a believable character, he's truly a likeable fellow. In comparison, I used to make Lara Croft jump off exceptionally high platforms and watch as she fell hundreds of feet to a horrible bone shattering death, purely for entertainment.

My point being, I felt no empathy or connection with Lara Croft. Not that I would cry if Nathan fell to his death in a similar manner, but I had more respect for him.

I think Naughty Dog have developed a more robust, interesting character in Nathan with one game, then the entire Tomb Raider franchise has with Lara.

Now if you're asking which character is easier on the eyes?

Well, I think we all know the answer to that.
