Wii is still selling out and by next year production will be at a steady 2.4/million, compared to this years 1.8 million for more than half of the year. Saying the Wii has peaked is obviously silly. I'll agree there. And there is one historical fact that anyone who thinks the Wii has peaked will have to consider: all consoles in history have sold the vast majority of their units after their first price drop. The Wii hasn't seen its first price drop and is still selling out.

The Wii is doing better than the DS was.  It is about 8 million units ahead of the DS given the same point in their respective lifetimes.  And the DS is doing better than ever.

Has the DS had a price drop yet?  It's still $130, right?
