Vgchartz traffic spikes since Wii/360 hubbub

Outside of "major" news reporting periods, I see the same traffic on here everyday. Around 80-100 members, and 450-600 users in total.

I'm hoping we will see increasingly larger traffic spikes whenever there is sales news. And I am also hoping the reporting dates even out, so we have something to discuss every day or two. Still seems to be very stop-start at the moment.

We have also slacked off reporting "news" in general - been a heap of new games, game announcements from GC.

@re: accuracy - I think we need to settle on "some" measure of measuring our accuracy (whether its relative to NPD or something else - I'm not sure) and make that data *really* obvious and available. I'd love to see a graph (for instance) of our 'accuracy' over time. That way it really shows that we aren't hiding anything...and are striving to get better and better results.

Another element may be this... with all the result publicity, I am hoping VGChartz is a more "well known" name - which in turn makes it easier for ioi to collect even more data. This may turn out to be the "lasting legacy" of the recent press release.
