Hahahahhaha, do you have a link to that? I don't think I've seen that one.

Nintendo abandons the hardcore?

IGN attempts to influence publishers for more hardcore titles,

"Create a Zack & Wiki fund. And get on the message boards and spread the word."

Matt's Nightmare,

"The next thing I can remember, I'm back in the room and eyeing a series of game kiosks which have been set up around the area.

People are gathered around Wii Sports, but off to one corner, completely ignored, is a fully playable version of Pikmin 3 for Wii. I walk toward it to make sure my eyes aren't deceiving me, but no, it's the real deal. I've completely forgotten about my red footie pajamas now. I ask a nearby Nintendo rep when they officially announced Pikmin 3 for Wii, but the person doesn't seem to know and only shrugs. The TV playing Pikmin 3 has dust on it and there aren't any Wii remotes hooked up to the unit."

And who can forget Matt's attempt at Wii Music?

So yeah, call me a conspiracy theorist, but I think IGN has a problem with Nintendo's new vision, and is hoping to influence a different direction.

PC + Wii owners unite.  Our last-gen dying platforms have access to nearly every 90+ rated game this gen.  Building a PC that visually outperforms PS360 is cheap and easy.    Oct 7th 2010 predictions (made Dec 17th '08)
