The names are sooo creative, Char + Lizard = Charizard
Btw, the Ekans thing, a friend couldn't believe when i told him that Ekans = Snake and Arbok = Kobra... Less when i told him that it was Psyduck and not Saiduck (He's a raging Dragonball fan and because of that he loved when Psyduck said "SAIYAYAI", you know, because of the Saiya-jin stuff)
BTW, in Dragonball the names were not as smart either, the Saiya-jins were named after vegetals, Freezer family after guess what?? Freezing stuff, Bulma's family after clothes, etc., but my favorite was the Cinderella pun (Bibidi, Babidy, Buu)...
