Biggest 'holy shit' moment in a game.

For me my biggest moment was probably when I first saw the opening CGI for Final Fantasy VIII. Back then that was the coolest thing I had ever seen in a video game.

 

Another one would be when I first played Silent Hill 2. I was walking the streets of Silent Hill in the fog early in the game, walked past a van and one of those fugly things scurried out from underneath it and ran right past me. I had the lights off at the time and I jumped out of the chair. Scared the shit out of me.
