"four times the texture resolution" would actually mean going from 128*128 sized textures to 256*256 sized textures (= from 16,384 pixels per texture to 65,536 pixels per texture)

But that certainly ain't nuffin to brag about in a press release for a next-gen iteration of a last-gen game, so I'm pretty sure they worded it badly and actually meant going from 128x128 to 512x512 (from 16,384 to 262,144 pix textures) which is a 16 time increase in both texture size and texture resolution (whatever term u wanna use).
