Ok... So i was just watching those 2 vids... And i'm freakin suprised.
Halfway through the 1st vid i had to check if i was watching the Wii version.
Cuzz damn. There's a lot of difference in the two vids (I mean some stuff looks WAY better on the Wii and viceversa)!
So lets get some things straight:
Polygon count:
PS3/X360 win.
Animations:
PS3/X360 win.
Stadion look:
Wii wins.
Gras:
Wii wins! Easily.
Graphics on an SD-tv:
Tied in the sharpness. Wii wins overall cuzz the PS3/X360 version looks plastic.
Graphics on an HD-tv:
PS3/X360 win. But not by a wide margin.
Last comments:
Or: EA has pumped lots of resources on the Wii version in comparison to the X360 and PS3.
Or: EA was too busy uping the polygoncount in the footballers for the X360 PS3 version (tunnelvision i call that).
Or: EA likes the Wii REALLY MUCH and is actually putting effort in Wii ports (Look at the first 'or' for more info).
Or: The PS3/X360 didn't get the polishing the Wii version got cuzz they thought the game would still sell REALLY WELL. As it did!
Props for the EA Wii team on this one. I hope the Wii version can keep up with it's opening numbers so it won't drop down fast and reach ~400k. I guess that would satisfy the effort for EA.
