What TP lacked was not a sense of difficulty but a sense of intimidation. Furthermore the game lacked a sense of true accomplishment that you got with progressing through OOT, TP felt more linear and less sandboxish as OOT was. While the bosses were easier in TP, they were only easier in that it was easier to figure out how to beat them, once you'd figured out how to do it, they were no harder in either game.
