I really can't follow your logic there. Do you also think the concept of switching tv channels when a commercial break is beginning is wrong? Because that's what I'm (and many others are) doing all the time. I really don't like ads in any form, so I would never click on a banner anyway.
Also if a site has really really annoying ads (like that hovering flash stuff or other non skipable ads) I'm boycotting this site altogether.
