So let me get this straight.

Shoulder buttons, analog stick, rumble, motion sensing, etc...Nintendo never once whined about others following in their footsteps.

Social audience home console gaming.....Sony to everyone else, "But...but, we did it first!"

Then again, I'd say Nintendo still started it by putting 4 controller ports to the N64 and developing Mario Party.

I can't say anything about shoulder buttons, but every other feature listed was invented by someone else long before Nintendo even though of it.  Yes, I'm even including having 4 controller ports built into a system, as well.  And of those, only rumble is something that they may have used in video gaming first.  Just because you aren't old enough/don't know enough about gaming doesn't mean Nintendo invented those things.

They DID invent digital pads, but considering the current market and what existed before them it's almost fair to call it a step backwards on their part.  'Course, that was the brain child of Gunpei Yokoi who was fired for making the Virtual Boy...

Nintendo doesn't cry about being ripped off because, well, you can't rip something off from someone when it wasn't theirs to begin with.

You do not have the right to never be offended.
