30fps locked is definitely good enough (60 locked, if anyone does that, is better), but from this team i would expect at least 1080p (had to say it). |
No, I'm using it as an example to prove the PS3 has the capability, and then I'm complaining about it not utilizing that capability. Just the same as I criticize Wii games that are half-assed, I don't think it's right for any "killer-ap" to not utilize the power of it's system to it's fullest. Obviously MP3 has much fewer processes to and calculations per framerate to make that 60 FPS lock work, but by amount of calculations per processing power, is it a difference? Actually come to think of it, I take that back. Metroid Prime 3 has an advantage because of it's style. Areas are loaded one at a time and separated by doors. When you open the door to the next room there is a short delay because it loads the room individually, allowing for more advanced effects and faster framerates than the Wii would be capable of in a single connected area.
