I support this thread. Sorta.

Home is not a game, and if it works as an online community then I'll call it a success. But as many have pointed out, it doesn't seem to be doing that very well so far. The interface is clunky, there's not enough there to bring folks together, it's buggy, and many find it borderline creepy. I think that's most people's problems so far.

If Sony fixes these things, then we can call it a success. But so far, it doesn't seem to be doing its task well.

*Note: I haven't played it myself. I'm just summing up the many disparate opinions I've read so far.
