I don't think graphics matter past a certain point. I think visual appeal as a whole matter, but not technical power. Yes, the technical power of a machine is there to allow different styles of art, but it shouldn't replace art, which I fear it's doing now. I still prefer Okami to anything the PS3 or 360 have to offer in visuals. Working within limitations and maximizing capabilities is what makes truly magnifficent looking games. I think Nintendo has been doing that very well throughout their history in gaming, and with games like Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, and SSBB, they are continuing to do so.
