Well, they aren't alike in anyway. I bought both expecting a lot. I played Fallout 3 from beginning to end with any spare time I had, beating it in about 54 hours. Fable 2 on the other hand, I started on and played for 5 hours on its release day, quit when I got Fallout 3 on ITS release day, and haven't been back to it since. It didn't really turn my crank, but I can see its appeal to others. Long story short, Falllout 3 would be my recommendation.
