Ok, where do I start… the best description for the Cell processor is that it’s a single core processor with several DSPs attached to it. Worst, it cannot even do out-of-order execution, meaning it cannot compete with PC solutions. Sometimes we need to stop taking our company of choice words too seriously and look for facts. I am sorry, but the PS3 isn’t a supercomputer, it isn’t even close.
