During the butchered launch in October Little Big Planet sold 310,000 copies in the U.S. During the whole month of November it sold 141,000.

A sharp decline over a longer period of time to rack up sales. Not to mention in one of the most important months of the year sales wise.

PS3 oweners need to learn to support their exclusive products or they aren't going to stay exclusive anymore. Sony could do a bit better job of advertising though. Despite all this I do expect the sales to pick up in December. They may not be amazing sales but it should increase.

While that may be true for third party games, it will never be the case for Sony published games. Fortunately for Sony they have a huge array of first party studios and 3rd party games sell enough to warrant 3rd party support for the console.

Yeah. That line left me scratching my head, too. If their 1st/2nd party titles don't sell well, it leaves less resources for them to work with, though. Less incentive to buy companies or not to downsize/sell them, as well.

I don't know if I would say, they have a huge array of studios. I can think of 7 3rd party publishers and 1 1st party publisher that surpasses them in sales. I'm not sure, they would want, a huge array of studios on their tab, either. Just ones that are going to get the job done on a regular basis. If a company is just sitting around or costing more than they're worth, it's definitely time, to cut them lose. Is MM going to be bringing in big money consistently, long-term, or having a noticeable effect on market share or image? Time will tell.
