Actually I find Civ IV to be the best, because its graphics are better than Civ III! Jk, I find that the even numbered series are really just perfecting the gameplay elements introduced in the odd numbered games. So Civ II for me is just a better Civ I and Civ IV is just a better Civ III.

We're hijacking here, but I prefer IV to the others, after Beyond the Sword came out. Before that, though, II was king.
