If it were to go somewhere, it'd be PS3/360... (it is H. Kojima you're talking about... he's very closely associated with the game).
Wii would definitely get Suikoden or Castlevania. Both are perfect for it. (Whip with your wiimote? awesome!)

Eh, i still doubt it's the case. Just saying... Kojima isn't the all out graphics whore for all his franchises that people make him out to be.
It's mostly just Metal Gear... and even then Metal Gear Solid as other Metal Gear games have been on PSP of all places.
The Wii game i believe rumored was Snatcher.
