Technically it's been said on many sites the cheap generic HDMI cables work just as well as the 50-80 dollar ones. As for the wireless router, I *believe* it recommends a certain channel, which I believe are the same as the wii, wireless channels 2 or 11, which you would setup on your wireless router itself. Check your manual for more info.
