Random November NPD Fact: Wii's were bought at a rate of 1/1.27 seconds

Just to reiterate how insane Wii's numbers continue to be; during the month of November, the wii was sold at the rate of one wii for every 1.27 seconds in the U.S. alone (according to NPD data).

For reference, that compares to one 360 for every 3.1 seconds, and one PS3 for every 6.8 seconds. 

Lets assume for a moment that today's sales are comprable (even though they are probably higher).  That means in the time you took reading this (lets say 20 seconds for sake of argument) ~16 Wii's, ~6 360s, and ~3+ PS3's were sold... thats a lot of new families with wiis.
